It is our pleasure to inform your goodself that World Kabaddi has decided to participate in the TAFISA World Sports for All Games in Lisbon, Portugal from June 18-24.
We have agreed to conduct the following:
- National Style (Rectangular) kabaddi Championships
- Circle Style kabaddi Championships
- Exhibition of kabaddi at various locations in Lisbon.
The cost of participation of the teams and officials including the flight, board and lodging must be borne by the teams themselves. These are the same arrangements given by the organisers to all sports.
World kabaddi will be giving away trophies and medals to the winners in each category while all participants will receive certificates.

The abovementioned Participation Fee per person consists of:
- 7 days, 6 nights accommodation, at the appointed at level others*/3*/4* hotels.
(Level Others* can be in 2* hotel, or Others like Youth hostel or similar facilities in Twin, Triple, or rooms for 4, 6 or 10 persons, according with the availability and agreement between the delegation and the organising commission.
City tax not included, €2 per night, per person, payable locally. )

- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Seven days meals (Lunch and Dinner)
- Airport return transfer upon arrival and departure or airport reception and escort by a liaison officer on public transport to the hotel and return.
- Public Transportation free pack in all Lisbon city area.
- Souvenir for each participant (hat, t-shirt, water container, backpack).
- Hospitality desk at the airport and in the main event area.

World Kabaddi will conduct the competitions over a three day period during the Games.
Both competitions will be held outdoors in open ground and not on EVA foam mats.
The weight categories for the circle kabaddi will be set at 90kg and below for men and 80kg and below for women. As for the national style kabaddi it will be at 85kg for men and 75 kg for women.
The competitions would be open to any teams and officials in good standings with the World Kabaddi.
Competition is open to any teams and is not confined to national teams only, and can be from clubs, combined teams, university teams etc. However, all confirmation must be made through World Kabaddi members.
Competitions for any category will only made conducted if at least four teams are confirmed for the particular category.
Please confirm your intentions to send a team or officials or individuals by filling up the questionnaire below on or before January 7, 2021.
Upon confirmation of the events, all teams and individuals are required to transfer the full amount of payment as required by the World Sports for All Games organisers as well as the relevant documents including passport copies on or before January 31, 2021.
Please take note that the World Kabaddi reserved the right to decide on the participation of any team or individual for kabaddi at the Games.
