The Central Board of the World Kabaddi comprises of the President, the five Vice-Presidents, the Secretary General and the Treasurer. The same group with additional representatives from the regional bodies is the executive committee.

President: Ashok Das (England)

Born in India, Ashok has been based in Birmingham for more than three decades. He was a former state level kabaddi player and was selected into the Role of Honor at the Guru Nanak Dev University Punjab, India.

A qualified kabaddi coach, he also holds a diploma in in sports coaching from the Birmingham College UK.

Was intrumental in introducing kabaddi in Europe. first as the head coach of the British Army and the England Kabaddi Association).

He trained and helped set-up kabaddi units in several European countries including Italy and Poland.

Ashok established the England Kabaddi Association and also helped set up clubs in Universities.

He was picked for the BBC Unsung Heroes & Birmingham Sports Awards ‘Runner up’.

Arasu is a former sports journalist and a two-time Malaysian Sportswriter of the Year Award winner. He is the founder member of the kabaddi association in Malaysia and is currently the Deputy President of the Malaysia Kabaddi Federation.

He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Toulouse-Jean Jaurès and runs his own event management outfit as well as a sports website in Malaysia.

He is currently a consultant for the Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee and the Cambodia ASEAN Para Games Organising Committee.

Dr. Wai-man Tang is a lecturer at the Department of Anthropology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interest lies in sports and South Asian cultures.

Since 2014, he has been promoting kabaddi in Hong Kong. He has founded two organizations: Kabaddi United Hong Kong and Hong Kong Kabaddi Sport Union.

The former is to promote social integration across people of different ethnic backgrounds through the sport, kabaddi.

And the latter is to create opportunities for Hong Kong athletes to showcase their kabaddi talents on the world stage.

Prem Singh is the founder member of Scottish Kabaddi and is also an executive committee member of World Kabaddi.

A consultant and business development advisor, his passion is sports in particular the sport of Kabaddi.

He is also the World Kabaddi Finance Commission.

Executive Member: Perpetual Muthoni Mbutu (Kenya)

Perpetual was the former national captain of the Kenyan women’s kabaddi team.

In 2017 she broke my color bone shoulder while preparing for an international event in Korea and decided to switch her talents to managing. He joined the Kenyan federation as as a volunteer and helped to introduce kabaddi to the national police service, national youth service and also helped form new clubs including Paradiso and Shoauri Moyo in Nairobi.

She was also a team manager of the Kenyan circle kabaddi team to India last year.

She was appointed to World Kabaddi excecutive committee last year.
