Players from various countries were in India during the inaugural Indo International Premier Kabaddi League hosted by the New Kabaddi Federation.
While the players were unable to play in the league due to technical issues, they were able to train together as well as gain first hand knowledge from the top Indian players at the IIPKL.
World Kabaddi president Ashok Kumar Das was in Bangalore for the IIPKL Finals and managed to meet the foreign players.
The players who were in India since mid May were Nahuel Villamayor, Gursharn Singh Dhami, Nicholas Mark Graham Cunningham,Filip Sesay, Simon Kibura Maina, Rudy Jonathan Bassy, Joseph Issaya Lusinde, Wang Tzu Jen, Ali Sari Sabr Al Saedi, Gopala a/l Ramaya,Wong Wai Chuen, Mustafa Fadhl and Lin Chen Ying.
