A World Kabaddi Level One Technical Officials Course was held recently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the support of the Malaysia Kabaddi Federation.
Officials from Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong attended the three day course. The participants also sat for the three hour examination and almost all the participants passed.
The course was conducted by the World Kabaddi Secretary General S.T. Arasu.
Participants from New Zealand, Syria and Iraq were also scheduled to attend the course but were unable to confirm their travel arrangements on time.
Participants gained knowledge on the rules of the three formats of kabaddi – National Style, Circle and Beach – during the course.
Among the other topics taught during the course were the competition formats and conduct.
More such course are being planned in the near future.
