Kabaddi was introduced in Kenya in August 2012 and was officially registered in March 2013 under The Sports Registrar, by then Society Act.
We have participated in Various International Kabaddi Championship in India since 2012.
Some of our senior players have also participated in Kabaddi league in India.
We have also hosted number of major Regional tournament that has attracted our neighbor National Team, Tanzania.

Nigeria Kabaddi Association (NKA) was formed in 2018 and registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under part C of Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.
NKA we are headquartered in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, with training centres in Stephen Keshi’s Stadium, Asaba, Delta and National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. We have plans to open training centres in other States of Nigeria to effectively spread and establish Kabaddi sports across the length and breadth of Nigeria in line with our objectives, which is to develop and manage Kabaddi in Nigeria with the highest standards; anchored on professionalism and with utmost good faith among others.
Tanzania Kabaddi Sports Association (TKSA) was formed in 2016 and its recognized by the National sports council of Tanzania.
The TKSA hosted the Indo Tanzania & East Africa Kabaddi Cup 2017 as well as the Guru Nanak Ji East Africa tournament 2018.
TKSA are also the hosts of the Africa Kabaddi Championship in March 2021 in Dar es Salaam.
